Tell us about your work with seabirds.
I work with government agencies and universities to curate, analyse, and publish data related to various aspects of seabirds: toxicology (mercury, plastics), long-term datasets (survival, divorce, climate change), entanglement, movement ecology...
What advice would you offer to individuals aspiring to pursue a career as seabird scientists?
Connect with people and jump into as many opportunities as you can early on in your career. You never know where these odd jobs will take you, but they will most likely be rewarding and will certainly be educational!
