I am a conservation biologist working at the Doñana Biological Station (EBD-CSIC). For over ten years, I have studied seabird ecology, behaviour and conservation, seeking to understand how these species respond to environmental change and pressures from human activities. My research has explored seabird migration and behaviour across different life stages and regions of the world, as well as major threats, from changes in the ocean to pollution. In recent years, I have investigated exposure to persistent chemical pollutants and their potential effects on reproduction. I also engage in science communication, bringing knowledge about seabirds, oceans and their conservation closer to society.
