Tell us about your work with seabirds.
I have worked on seabird ecology and conservation, with a keen interest in their population dynamics, their spatial and trophic ecology, and their ecotoxicology, as well as how all these are affected by environmental modifications due to global change. Mainly with petrels and auks.
What advice would you offer to individuals aspiring to pursue a career as seabird scientists?
Never give up. "Sometimes the difficulty of the slope does not
let us see that we continue to make progress and climb up" (Albert Espinosa)
